Thunder is a fine big black fella, cropped and docked, about 5 years old. He is a very friendly and active dog who loves to be with his people. Unfortunately, Thunder thinks that chickens and skunks make great play toys! As with most male dobermans he should not be left alone with other large male dogs, and he would probably do best as an only dog. He is probably also too active for small children. Thunder would love a big yard and lots of attention! |

Strider is a handsome black cropped guy who has run into some hard times. He is about 3 1/2 years old. Strider is quite friendly with people, and he's doing fine with dogs. He's too interested in cats, but he's pretty good with dog-savvy cats. As with most male dobermans he should not be left alone with other large male dogs, just to be safe. Strider tries very hard to do the right thing, and he is doing very well as he gets used to people being nice to him. He needs a kind and patient owner who can teach him all about the good things in life! (And yes, he has been neutered since this picture was taken!) |

Duchess is a beautiful black cropped girl, about 8 or 9 years old, who was recently returned to us by her previous adopter. She was returned because she is afraid of thunderstorms. Duchess is a quiet and friendly girl who gets along well with other dogs. She tends to stare at cats a lot, but dog-savvy cats who don't run have done just fine with her. When there are storms around she does need to be either crated or be right with her people, but who doesn't need a little extra TLC every now and then? |

Harry is a fine young man with natural ears and a docked tail, about 3 years old. Harry is a friendly and gentle boy who seems to have had a hard life. He has crooked front legs, and he appears to have broken one leg at some time in the past. Harry is doing fine with other dogs. He's too interested in cats, but he is living peacefully with cats in his foster home right now. Harry also loves kids. He needs a kind and gentle owner who can give him the attention he deserves! |

Hutch is a handsome black guy with natural ears and a docked tail. Hutch is about 3 years old and we're estimating his birthdate at 5/04. Hutch is active and wiggly, and he really wants to be someone's best buddy. He loves people, and he has a great teeth-bearing dobersmile. Hutch is also special because he has a verrrrrry long (but docked!) tail that is about three times longer than a normal dock job. And boy, does he know how to wag it! Hutch is good with female dogs, not so good with male dogs, and he reaaaaaaaally wants to eat cats! Hutch is looking for a kind and playful owner to show him how good life can be. |
